Sandwich Public Library District announces summer programs

Summer Outdoor Movie Nights: There’s nothing like going to an outdoor movie, so park your car or bring a lawn chair, and enjoy the show. Bring your own snacks and beverages (no alcohol permitted on the premises). Parking opens at 7:30 p.m., screenings begin at dusk. Show dates include June 25, July 8, July 22, Aug. 5, Aug. 19. DIT (Do It Together) Club: second Friday of the each month, 3 p.m. on the lawn of the library. Why “Do It Yourself” when you can Do It Together? We’ll try out new projects and help each other along the way. Visit sandwichpld.org to register online or call 815-786-8308.

Outdoor Art Night: fourth Tuesday of each month, 5 p.m., onn the lawn of the library. Cost is $5. Explore a new art form with us out on the back lawn. If weather prohibits us from meeting, pick up all the supplies to take home.

Outdoor Story Time: second Wednesdays, 10 a.m. Let’s read some stories outside. Join us for a socially-distanced outdoor preschool story time, where we’ll read, play, and have fun. Register online by visiting sandwichpld.org.
