Open Door to host 28th annual golf outing

Open Door Rehabilitation Center will host its 28th annual golf outing Friday, June 18, at Bliss Creek Golf Club in Sugar Grove.

Organizers are thrilled to be able to resume this event after having to cancel last year’s outing because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The annual community event will kick off with a shotgun, best ball scramble at 12:30 p.m. Organizers encourage golfers to consider coming out to support programs and services for adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities.

The outing consists of 18 holes, fun contests, complimentary drinks, free range tokens and a steak dinner with dessert.

Sponsorship opportunities are available to organizations or individuals looking to donate. Those interested will be recognized in the Open Door newsletter, website, banquet program and Facebook posts. Sponsorships of $250 or more will receive special signage on the golf course.
