22 year-old man stabbed multiple times in Plano incident

A 22 year-old man was injured in a stabbing incident that occurred at 6:30 p.m., May 5, in the 900 block of West South Street in Plano, according to Plano police.

In a statement, police said the man suffered multiple stab wounds and was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.

Police said officers collected evidence and interviewed the victim and witnesses at the scene.

Police confirmed that the victim and suspect knew each other and that there is no danger to the public.

The investigation into the incident is continuing, according to police.

Personnel from the Little Rock Fox Fire Protection District, Yorkville Police Department and the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office assisted Plano police in responding to the incident.
