Businesses, residents invited to join Yorkville High School’s stationary Homecoming parade

Yorkville High School officials are extending an invitation to local residents and businesses to join in the school’s annual Homecoming parade.

Due to the continuing COVID-19 pandemic, the parade, scheduled for Thursday, April 22, will be stationary with entries and participants positioned on the bus circle at the school off Game Farm Road.

Participants will set up on the bus circle between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. Parade spectators will then drive through the circle and view the entires from 6 p.m. and 7 p.m.

The school’s Homecoming football game will be held on Friday, April 23, at the school’s Campbell Field. The Homecoming Court will be introduced and the King and Queen will be announced at the game.
