Masonic lodge donates supplies to Sandwich, Somonauk schools

Masonic Meteor Lodge No. 283 in Sandwich recently donated $200 worth of supplies to each grade school and middle school in Sandwich and Somonauk.

In a statement, the Lodge members said that there always are some students whose parents cannot afford to buy some of the school supplies, and with the impact of the pandemic this year more parents are without funds to purchase them.

The Meteor Lodge recently contacted the schools to compile a list of supplies that were most likely to be needed by the students. Using their list, they then gave $200 worth of supplies to each school in Sandwich and Somonauk.
