Tuesday will be a remote learning day for Plano School District students

Plano School District 88 students will have a remote learning day on Tuesday, Jan. 26 due to the winter storm that is now in progress, according to a statement issued Monday night, Jan. 25.

The statement reads: “This is an important message to let you know that all students will have a remote learning day on Tuesday, January 26th, due to the bad weather that is being forecasted.  Students should follow their regular Tuesday schedule, but everything will be fully remote and no students should report to the buildings. Student attendance is required.

“Parents and students should check with their teachers and Schoology account for assignments and lesson details.

“Out of district students will not be transported on Tuesday, January 26th and should check with their schools for lesson plans.  We plan to resume our regular in-person learning and transportation schedule on Wednesday, January 27th,” the statement concludes.
