Fox Valley Habitat to offer homeownership orientations

Need a hand up to build or improve a home? Montgomery-based Fox Valley Habitat for Humanity will host a series of online orientation sessions for families to partner with Habitat.

Virtual presentations on Zoom are scheduled for 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 9, and Thursday, March 11.

Habitat funds coordinator Barbara Zegiel said, “We are in need of at least six families to partner with Habitat.” The nonprofit ministry’s latest build, a home with an Aurora family, is under construction in Batavia.

Zegiel said prospective Habitat partner families should view “Housing Help,” a video on Habitat’s website, Foxvalleyhabitat.org. To sign up for an orientation, send an email with the date and time of a preferred session to info@FoxValleyHabitat.org. Habitat will reply with the Zoom link.
