Fox Valley Community Services lists upcoming events

Fox Valley Community Services celebrated 2021 by dropping a COVID Ball. Sandwich Mayor Rich Robinson dropped the ball to the cheers of happy participants during the ever-popular Parking Lot Series of events. These events have included a holiday party, night bingo, the New Year’s Eve celebration and more.

Continuing in 2021 will be Park N Play Bingo at 10 a.m. every Thursday. Starting in January, Book 2Movie Club is back. This month’s book is “Wonder” by J.R. Palacio, followed by the movie with Julia Roberts and Owen Wilson. Coming in February are Zoom exercises at 10 a.m. Tuesdays. Watch for details on Party Line Bingo played at home on your phone.

Fox Valley Community Center in Sandwich still is closed to the public, but fun can be had in the parking lot through Zoom activities and conference calls. The popular Seniors With A Purpose Program is still running with seniors working on projects at home. Call the center for new projects and information at 815-786-9404.
