One injured, one cited in Oswego crash

One person was injured and another ticketed following a crash at 2:35 p.m. Dec. 5 on Douglas Road at Long Beach Road in Oswego, village police reported.

In a statement, police said a 53 year-old female passenger in a sedan driven by Alfonso Aviles-Bustos, 56, of Aurora, was injured in the crash and transported to an area hospital.

Police said they ticketed Aviles-Bustos for driving without a valid license. He was released pending a Dec. 16 court date.

The driver of the other vehicle involved in the crash, a 26 year-old Montgomery man, was not injured, according to police.
