One hurt in crash on Route 30 at Fifth Street in Oswego

Oswego police responded at 8:15 p.m. Nov. 27 to a two vehicle crash on Route 30 at Fifth Street.

In a statement, police said an 18 year-old passenger in one of the cars involved in the crash was transported to an area hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

Police said the crash occurred when a vehicle driven by an 18 year-old Montgomery resident, which was proceeding westbound on Route 30, drove through a red light at the Fifth Street intersection and collided with another vehicle driven by a 51 year-old Aurora man.

Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene, police said.
