Oswego police take property damage, theft reports at local businesses

Oswego police took two separate reports of criminal damage to property at 12:30 p.m. Aug. 1 at businesses in the 200 block of Fernwood Road and in the 0-10 block of East Merchants Drive, respectively.

In press statements, police said an estimated $500 damage was done to one of the businesses, a dental office, in the 200 block of Fernwood Road. In the other incident, police said an estimated $500 in damage was done at a convenience store in the 0-10 block of East Merchants Drive.

In a third report, police said they responded to a retail theft at the convenience store at 12:30 p.m. Aug. 1. The loss in the incident was placed at $100.
