Montgomery man arrested in Yorkville on charges of unlawful use of a credit card, theft

Yorkville police arrested Daniel C. Volz, 47, of the 2100 block of Rebecca Circle, Montgomery, on May 3 on charges of unlawful use of a credit card and theft of lost or mislaid property.

In a statement police said in late 2020 the suspect found another person’s mislaid credit card and then allegedly used it at several businesses without the cardholder’s permission.

Volz turned himself in at the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office on May 7, and was released after posting $5,000 or 10% bond.
