Police arrest Yorkville man on felony weapons charge while responding to neighbor dispute report

Yorkville police arrested Richard A. Bosse, 54, of the 400 block of Woodworth Street, Yorkville, at 10:06 p.m., April 7, on charges of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, a Class 4 felony, and misdemeanor charges of aggravated assault, conceal carry license firearm violation and disorderly contact.

In a statement, police said they were summoned to the 400 block of Woodworth Street on the city’s near northeast side on a report of a neighbor dispute. Upon arrival at the scene, police said officers were told the suspect had allegedly come over to a neighbor’s driveway and displayed and pointed a pistol at the individuals present. Officers arrested Bosse at his residence and transported him to the Kendall County Jail, pending a bond hearing.
