Freshman Danielle Bulson recorded her second triple double with 24 points, 11 rebounds and 11 steals for the Mustangs (2-5). Senior Felicity Allgood added 21 points.

Newark 47, Hinckley-Big Rock 43

KJ Friedstad had 10 points and six rebounds, Kellie Snyder six points, 14 rebounds and four steals and Emily DiClementi 11 points for the Lady Norsemen (3-2, 1-0 Little Ten). Gwyneth O’Connell added nine points and Taylor Kruser eight points and four steals.

West Aurora 57, Yorkville 50 (OT)

Ava Hendershott scored 15 points and Kenzie Phillips added 13 for the Foxes. A scramble play led to a foul followed by free throws from West Aurora to send the game into overtime.

“In what was an incredibly competitive game, and the Foxes best to date, they just fell short in regulation,” Yorkville coach Kim Wensits said. “Lady Foxes battled their hearts out and will learn and get better from this game.”

Sycamore 60, Sandwich 14

Claire Allen scored nine points to pace the Indians (2-5, 0-1).

The Reapers won in Interstate Eight Conference action at Plano. Winning matches for the Reapers (3-1) were Cain Hernandez, Travion Gilford, Antoine Gilford, Gio Diaz, Vince Herbig, Jack Olivier, Andrew Harrelson and Alex Diaz.

On Wednesday the Reapers beat Mooseheart 60-16 and Plano 60-12 and lost to Coal City 67-3. Winning two matches were Travion Gilford, Antoine Gilford, Caiden Ronning, Gio Diaz, Richie Amakari, Jack Olivier, Andrew Harrelson and Alex Diaz.
