Members from Open Roads ABATE participated in the 15th annual Rookie’s Run, sponsored by The Friendly Tap of Plano on Sunday, Aug. 22. Proceeds from this run went to Save-a-Vet in memory of Justin Fleming. The 115-mile ride started and ended at The Friendly Tap in Plano. There were several stops along the way – Karma in Wedron, Dockside in Ottawa, JRs Bar & Grill in Grand Ridge, Smitty’s in Leonore and The Grove in Troy Grove.
