Members from Open Roads ABATE of IL, Inc. participated in the Illinois Motorcycle Freedom Run on Saturday, June 19. A gathering of several hundred motorcycles started at the Grundy County Fairgrounds. Riders/passengers biked to Marseilles in the annual Freedom Run where patriotism was shown as people lined the route with flags. Everyone congregated at the Middle East Conflicts Wall Memorial in Marseilles for a ceremony honoring our fallen heroes from Panama, Lebanon, Balkans, Grenada, Somalia, Haiti, USS Cole, USS Stark, terrorism attacks, and current conflicts in the Middle East.
