ALR announces winners in Bowl for Vets event

The American Legion Riders Post 181 from Sandwich coordinated Bowl for Vets on Saturday, March 27, at Sandwich Idle Hour Lanes. Cash prizes were awarded for first place to Kris Grzenia, who bowled a 900 series; second place to Chris Garcia, bowled a 902 serieswith handicap; and third place to Cody Lawrence, who bowled a 897 series.

Sandy and Bob Lawrence coordinated the event, Sandwich Idle Hour Lanes provided the facility and many businesses donated items for the raffles. Proceeds from this event will be sent to Rolling Thunder to educate the public that many American Prisoners of War were left behind after all previous wars and to protect future veterans from being left behind should they become prisoners of war/missing in action.
