High school football: Week 5 results; recaps for every game

Oswego 17, Yorkville 6: Joey DeMarco’s recovery of a blocked punt turned into a 36-yard touchdown, and the Panthers won a defensive battle with the Foxes at Ken Pickerill Stadium. Jacob Sergen scored on a 1-yard TD run for Oswego, which bounced back from a loss to Oswego East. Yorkville scored on a TD pass from Luke Davies to Isaiah Griffin.

Plainfield North 17, Oswego East 10: Dylan Rasmason scored on a 35-yard TD run in the second quarter, Adam Smith on a 9-yard TD run in the third and the Tigers held Oswego East to six first downs for the game. Oswego East’s lone TD came on a trick play, Jackson Lamboley’s 45-yard TD pass to quarterback Michael Ford in the third quarter.
