Identity theft

Sheriff’s deputies responded to reports of identity theft at the 6000 block of Ravine Court in Yorkville at 3:16 p.m. on Dec. 30. An investigation is ongoing.

Violation of order of protection

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a violation of an order of protection at the 100 block of Boulder Hill Pass in Boulder Hill at 5:03 p.m. on Dec. 30. An investigation is ongoing.

Battery

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of battery at the area of West Main Street and North Johnson Street in Newark at 7:02 p.m. on Dec. 30. There were no injuries and the incident is under investigation.

Leaving scene of a crash

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of leaving the scene of a crash at the intersection of Route 71 and East Highpoint Road in Kendall Township at 7:35 p.m. on Dec. 30. An investigation is ongoing.

Domestic battery

Sheriff’s deputies arrested Ashanti Ceja, 18, of the 0 to 99 block of Lions Street in Newark on a charge of domestic battery. Deputies had responded to Ceja’s address at 2:20 a.m. on Dec. 31 on a report of domestic battery. Ceja was transported to the Kendall County Jail.

Domestic battery

Sheriff’s deputies arrested Pablo Aguirre-Ochoa, 42, of the 1000 block of Route 30 in Oswego Township on a charge of domestic battery. Deputies had responded to Aguirre-Ochoa’s address at 6:12 p.m. on Dec. 31 on a report of domestic battery. Aguirre-Ochoa was transported to the Kendall County Jail for processing.

Violation of order of protection

Sheriff’s deputies arrested Scott Tomter, 52, with a prior address in the 100 block of Boulder Hill Pass in Boulder Hill for a violation of an order of protection on Dec. 31. Deputies had responded to Tomter’s address for a report of an order of protection violation - Tomter was later located and taken into custody. He was transported to the Kendall County Jail where he awaits a bond call.

Domestic battery and criminal damage to property

Sheriff’s deputies arrested a 16-year-old male, of the 100 block of Heathgate Road in Boulder Hill on charges of domestic battery and criminal property damage on Jan. 1. Deputies had responded to the 100th block oHeathgate Road on a report of domestic battery at 7:02 p.m. when they apprehended the juvenile after an investigation. Deputies transported the juvenile to the Kendall County Jail for processing.

Criminal sexual assault

Sheriff’s deputies responded to Morris Hospital at 11:31 p.m. on Jan. 2 following up on a report of criminal sexual assault that occurred in the 8000 block of Van Emmon Road in Oswego Township. The incident is under investigation.

DUI

Sheriff’s deputies arrested Sy L. Glenn, 43, of the 2000 block of Brockwood Court in Joliet, on a charge of driving under the influence on Jan. 3. Deputies had responded to the area of Caton Farm Road west of Ashley Road in Kendall Township for a vehicle accident with injuries. They later arrested Glenn and transported him to the Kendall County Jail for processing.

Attempted burglary

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of attempted burglary at the 0 to 99 block of Wembley Road in Boulder Hill Jan. 3. An investigation remains ongoing.

Domestic battery

Sheriff’s deputies responded to reports of domestic battery at the 0 to 99 block of Eastfield Road in Oswego Township at 1:59 a.m. on Jan. 4. An investigation is ongoing.

Identity theft

Sheriff’s deputies responded to reports of identity theft at the 15000 block of Sherrill Road in Big Grove Township at 10:05 a.m. on Jan. 2. An investigation is ongoing.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to reports of identity theft at the 200 block of East Front Street in Big Grove Township at 10:50 a.m. on Jan. 2. An investigation is ongoing.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to reports of identity theft at the 5000 block of Walker Road in Na-Au-Say Township at 2:30 p.m. on Jan. 2. An investigation remains ongoing.

Identity theft and unlawful use of credit

Sheriff’s deputies responded to reports of identity theft at the 7900 block of Chicago Road in Plattville at 3:27 p.m. on Jan. 2. An investigation is ongoing.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to reports of identity theft at the 200 block of Fernwood Road in Oswego Township at 9:20 a.m. on Jan. 4. An investigation is ongoing.

Identity Theft:

Sheriff’s deputies received a report of identity theft from the 0 to 99 block of Saugatuck Road in Oswego Township at 1:53 p.m. on Jan. 4. The incident remains under investigation.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to reports of domestic battery at the 0 to 99 block of Sonora Drive in Oswego Township at 11:37 p.m. on Jan. 4. The incident is under investigation.
