• Konni K. Torrente, 48, of the 48W400 block of Farmview Court, Maple Park, was charged March 19 with two counts of misdemeanor domestic battery.

• Ryan T. Maycock, 21, of the 600 block of Covered Bridge Drive, Elgin, was charged March 20 with speeding 26 to 34 miles over the speed limit. Shortly after midnight, deputies clocked Maycock’s blue 2019 Dodge Challenger traveling 90 miles an hour on Route 25 north of Fabyan Parkway where the speed limit is 45 miles an hour, the report stated.

• Sharath Lingala, 27, of the 3100 block of Brook Street, St. Charles, was charged March 18 with speeding 25 or more over the speed limit. Shortly after 2 a.m., deputies clocked Lingala’s 2021 black Hyundai Sonata on Randall Road and Middle Creek Lane at 93 miles an hour where the speed limit is 50 miles an hour.

• Zachary R. Popp, 23, of the 6S200 block of Hankes Road, Sugar Grove Township, was charged March 18 with two counts of domestic battery. According to sheriff’s reports, Popp and another man got into an argument about a movie and it turned physical while at the victim’s house in the 38W900 block of Hilltop Drive, St. Charles Township.

• Joshua L. Gough, 25, of the 300 block of Hilltop Drive, North Aurora, was charged March 9 with two counts of misdemeanor domestic battery.

• John R. Sindelar, 47, of the 1100 block of Dorr Drive, Sugar Grove, was charged March 19 with driving under the influence and driving too fast for conditions. Deputies were called to Denny and Norris roads in Sugar Grove Township shortly before 4:30 p.m. for an accident. A 2019 black GMC Sierra, driven by Sindelar, proceeded straight through instead of making the right turn. The driver of a 2021 black Ford Explorer told deputies she was northbound on Norris and could not stop and struck Sindelar’s truck on the passenger side, the report stated.
