Batavia police reports for: Dec. 15-Jan. 17

• Cash in the amount of $2,000 was reported stolen Jan. 13 from a resident of the 200-300 block of Stone Manor Circle via wire fraud.

• Fathi A. Mislih, 40, of the 1200 block of East Wilson Street, Batavia, was charged Jan. 14 with domestic battery and interfering with the reporting of domestic battery, both misdemeanors.

• Joel Yepiz, 42, of the 1N300 block of Route 59, West Chicago, was arrested Jan. 14 on a Batavia warrant for two felony burglary charges. Yepiz is being held in the Kane County jail on $20,000 bond. A status hearing is scheduled for Jan. 21.

• Two purses valued over $500 were reported stolen Jan. 15 at the Full Moon Bar and Grill, 113 S. Batavia Ave., Batavia. One of the purses contained a wallet with $350 to $400 in cash inside.

• Isidro Garcia Jr., 19, of the 1400 block of North Elmwood Drive, Aurora, was charged Jan. 16 with speeding more than 35 miles an hour over the posted limit.

• A mailbox valued at $300 was reported damaged Jan. 16 in the 200 block of Johnson Woods Drive, Batavia.

• Andrea Rosales, 26, of the 1300 block of Johnstone Drive, Batavia, was charged Jan. 17 with illegal transportation of alcohol by a driver and driving with a suspended license.

• Tracy Friedmansky, 42, homeless, was arrested Jan. 17 on a DuPage County warrant and transported there.

• Kenneth D. Rogers, 50, of the 1000 block of North Avenue, Batavia, was charged Dec. 15 with felony aggravated battery of a victim age 60 or older and two misdemeanor charges of domestic battery.
