Batavia police reports for: July 4-19

•A FedEx package was reported stolen July 15 from in front of the apartment building at 1104 Lorlyn Circle.

• Nicholas A. Venice, 38, of the 900 block of Lexington Lane, Batavia, was charged July 19 with domestic battery.

• Some 100 to 200 people and vehicles blocked the intersection of North Kirk Road and East Wilson Street shortly after midnight on July 4, setting off fireworks. They dispersed when the Kane County Sheriff’s deputies and police from Aurora, Geneva, St. Charles and West Chicago arrived to assist Batavia police.

• Two vehicle tires were reported punctured and two hammocks cut down July 5 in the 600 block of Carlisle Road.

• Assorted cigarettes and merchandise valued at $276 was reported shoplifted July 6 from BP Amoco, 200 N. Randall Road.

• A female employee of the Batavia Park District, 327 W. Wilson St., reported July 6 of being harassed a caller for several days because he was upset about no tours of the parks.

• A computer monitor valued at $130 was reported stolen July 7 from the front door of Green Meadow Apartments, 1187 W. Wilson St. The monitor was in a package that was delivered.
