Geneva police reports for: May 21-25

These are the latest Geneva police reports:

• Michael I. Barrier, 31, of the 300 block of West Railroad Street, Kingston, was charged May 21 with two counts of domestic battery. According to police reports, officers were called to the Comfort Inn, 15555 E. Fabyan Parkway, at 11 p.m. the night before, where the victim said Barrier punched her in the face, above her left eye and upper chest area, pulled her by her hair from the bed to the floor and repeatedly slammed her head against the floor. Barrier is being held in the Kane County Jail on $10,000 bond with a May 28 court date, records show.

• Donald A. Klein, 59, of the 200 block of Ford Street, Geneva, was charged May 21 with two counts of domestic battery and one count of interfering with the reporting of domestic violence. A domestic argument escalated with Klein allegedly pressing his forearm under the victim’s chin and against her throat; she then kneed him in the genitals and ribs, the report stated. When the victim said she was calling police, Klein allegedly grabbed her cell phone out of the left cup of her bra and threw the phone away from her, the report stated.

• Haroun F. Ahearn, 19, of the 1200 block of Appleton Lane, Geneva, was charged May 25 with unlawful possession of a weapon – a switchblade knife – and underage drinking.
