Kane Health Dept. to host COVID-19 vaccine clinic in West Dundee

KANE COUNTY - The Kane County Health Department will host a COVID-19 vaccination clinic from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 16 at Spring Hill Mall, 1072 Spring Hill Mall Dr., West Dundee.

No appointment is needed, but pre-registration at KaneVax.com is recommended.

Pfizer, Moderna and Janssen will be available for adults 18 and older. Pfizer will also be available for anyone 12 and older. The health department recommends speaking with your provider before taking an additional dose of any of the three.

According to the Kane County Health Dept:

Individuals over 18 who received the Pfizer primary vaccine may receive a booster of Janssen, Moderna or Pfizer five months after their last dose.

Individuals 12 to 17 who received the Pfizer primary vaccine series may receive a booster of Pfizer five months after their last dose.

Individuals over 18 who received the Moderna primary vaccine series may receive a booster of Janssen, Moderna or Pfizer five months after their last dose.

Individuals over 18 who received the Janssen primary dose may receive a booster of Janssen, Moderna or Pfizer two months after their primary dose.
