Batavia United Way to host leaf raking event for seniors, veterans, individuals with disabilities

BATAVIA – The Batavia United Way is again running the Day of Caring annual leaf raking event for senior citizens, veterans and those with disabilities on Nov. 7, according to a news release.

Teams of high school volunteers, Batavia Youth Baseball families and others community members fan out across Batavia to rake leaves to the curb before the city of Batavia leaf pick up.
