Registration, tickets now available for several Swedish Days events

Annual summer event is being held June 24-27

GENEVA – The Geneva Chamber of Commerce has announced that registration is open for three Swedish Days events that tickets/registration will be required to attend, according to a news release.

The Swedish Days 5K Lopp begins at 7:30 a.m. Saturday, June 26. The Scandinavian race encourages runners to show their Swedish pride by dressing in blue and yellow, the release stated. Register at https://raceroster.com/events/2021/47985/swedish-days-lopp-5k by June 10 to guarantee a t-shirt at packet pick-up.

Live music returns to Dala-Palooza at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 26. The Geneva Chamber of Commerce, assisted by Kane County Cougars, welcome ARRA and Trippin’ Billies to Northwestern Medicine Field. Elise Flagg Dance Studio and Lisa Thomen are also scheduled to perform.

Drinks and food will be available to purchase. No outside drink or food may be brought into the stadium. These concerts will be in the Music Garden of the stadium so attendees should bring chairs and blankets. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased through the Kane County Cougars ticketing system. There will also be a $5/car parking (cash only) that day.

Swedish Days wraps up Sunday, June 27 with the new Choklad Crawl, which will feature 15 businesses offering chocolate-inspired products. The $18 ticket includes all the businesses, plus a goodie bag. Tickets can be purchased at https://www.genevachamber.com/product/choklad-crawl/.
