Geneva Chamber to host city-wide garage sale in April

GENEVA – The Geneva Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a city-wide garage sale April 23 and 24 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days.

According to a news release from the Chamber, sellers and buyers are asked to wear masks and practice social distancing while shopping. Sellers are asked to monitor crowd numbers.

Participants will have their address and key items listed on a map to be distributed throughout the city, and posted on the Chamber’s website. Participants will also receive a garage sale sign to post near their home, the release stated.

The Geneva Chamber will do all the advertising, marketing, printing and distributing of materials, while sellers keep the profits of the sale, the release stated.

Sellers who want their address on the printed and online map must register for $25 at the Chamber’s website at genevachamber.com.

Sellers can also print out a registration form at this web address or pick one up at the Chamber office, 8 S. Third St., to pay by cash/check (made payable to Geneva Chamber of Commerce). The cost to register jumps to $30 after April 15.

The 2021 Geneva City-Wide Garage Sale is sponsored by Floods Royal Flush.
