Waubonsee Community College students will begin their spring semester classes online.
According to a news release from the college, the decision to hold remote classes from Jan. 18 through Jan. 30 was made because of increasing COVID-19 cases in the area.
The college will continue to offer virtual services through Jan. 30, with some on-campus appointments available, the release stated.
College leadership will continue to monitor the situation with the coronavirus with the information provided by state health and elected officials, the release stated.
