Wok n Fire moving from downtown St. Charles to city’s east side

Moving to space that previously housed Sweet Tomatoes

Wok n Fire is moving from its current location in downtown St. Charles to the space that formerly housed the salad bar buffet restaurant Sweet Tomatoes.

The restaurant, which serves sushi-centric, Asian-inspired cuisine, had been located at 181 S. First St. since 2010. Wok n Fire will be relocating to a 7,000 square foot space at 2801 E Main St. in St. Charles formerly occupied by Sweet Tomatoes restaurant.

Moto i Moto, will be taking over Wok n Fire’s space and serve Asian street food, noodles and signature sushi rolls.

According to the city’s community and economic development, the new restaurant will be Chef Brian Goewey’s 7th restaurant under the BG Hospitality Group which operates Gia Mia and Livia Italian Eatery. Similar to the sister restaurants, Moto i Moto will offer sharable plates and fresh farm to fork ingredients.

Moto i Moto looks to open its doors in June.
