Fox River Arts Ramble to spotlight artists in venues from St. Charles to Aurora

The free Fox River Arts Ramble will feature 102 artists at 17 venues in St. Charles, Geneva, Batavia and Aurora from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, June 5. Locations range from arts centers, galleries, studios and businesses to an alpaca farm.

“The public is invited to ramble through these communities to enjoy and experience the abundance of talent we possess right there in our own backyard,” Kathryn Hill, executive director of the St. Charles Arts Council, stated in a news release. “I’m thrilled with the participation level and excitement that our area artists bring to the table.”

The Arts Ramble is a collaborative effort among Fine Line Creative Arts Center in St. Charles, the St. Charles Arts Council and Water Street Studios in Batavia, and was created to make artists and their studios/galleries accessible to the public. Fine Line Creative Arts Center and Water Street Studios will host artists in outdoor tents, as well as offer food and entertainment.

The St. Charles Arts Council will host artists at Kava Diem Coffee Shop, and will hold an artist reception from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. The public is welcome to attend.
