Photo gallery: Utica and Oglesby firefighters conduct rope rescue training at Starved Rock

Utica firefighter Nolan Hamilton climbs up a portion of the sandstone walls at Wildcat Canyon in Starved Rock State Park on Saturday May 1, 2021. Utica and Oglesby firefighters participated in a rope rescue drill in the 125 foot tall canyon. Firefighters were practicing in case a real rescue is needed in the state parks. With the busy summer tourist season approaching, having the drill was beneficial to the firefighters in case of an emergency. (Scott Anderson)
