Mystery Diner in Geneva: Nobel House sets itself high standards

In the past year, it has expanded into the storefront immediately to the west of its original spot, and has a new entrance. That doorway leads right to the long bar, where pickups await customers. Nobel House also has a large tented outdoor dining area behind the building. The new interior has lots of lively accents from tile to rich wood and brick, along with ample TVs. And as a focal point, it still sports the image of Alfred Nobel, the restaurant's namesake. The website references him as an inspiration for excellence, and draws comparisons to its devotion to creating artisan smoked meats and other made-from-scratch dishes.
