Roundup: Amboy-LaMoille routs No. 1 West Central

The Amboy-LaMoille football team scored 20 points in the first quarter and 32 points in the second en route to a 60-14 rout of No. 1-ranked West Central, which had won its first eight 8-man games.

Kye Koch rushed for 181 yards and three touchdowns on five carries, quarterback Tucker Lindenmeyer ran for 107 yards and two TDs and Dillon Daniels rushed for 48 yards and a pair of scores on five attempts.

The Clippers held the Heat to 212 offensive yards — 158 rushing — and one offensive touchdown.

Eureka 41, Fieldcrest 0

Koltin Kearfott threw for 157 yards on Friday as the Knights lost a Heart of Illinois Conference Large Division game in Minonk.

Fieldcrest fell to 0-4 overall and 0-2 in the HOIC Large.

Diego Vazquez scored two goals and had three assists Friday to lead the Red Raiders to a non-conference victory in their homecoming game in Earlville.

Bryar Keller scored two goals, Griffin Cook had a goal and three assists, Ryan Browder contributed a goal and an assist and Trenton Fruit added a goal for Earlville.

Ayden Malavolti and Lance Kiesewetter each carded a 48 on Friday as the Mallards fell in a Tri-County Conference match at Edgewood Park Golf Club in McNabb.

Troy Westerdahl had a 49 for Henry, while Mason Johnson added a 52.

Marquette’s Carson Zellers was the medalist with a 41.
