High school football: Week 4 results; recaps for every game

Prairie Ridge 49, Jacobs 48: In a wild finish, the Wolves thwarted a two-point conversion attempt by the Golden Eagles with 2:33 remaining to escape with the FVC win.

Richmond-Burton 21, Plano 14: Steven Siegel scored a game-winning touchdown with 1:16 left for R-B, and the Rockets held off Plano to run its winning streak to 24 in a battle of unbeaten teams.

Hampshire 43, Crystal Lake Central 6: Quarterback Tyler Fikis had five total touchdowns, and the Whip-Purs rolled up 492 yards of total offense in a dominant FVC win over the Tigers.

Cary-Grove 56, McHenry 14: The Trojans, the top-ranked team in The Associated Press Class 6A Poll, put on another offensive show and scored the first seven times it touched the ball in the blowout FVC victory over the Warriors.

Marengo 39, Harvard 0: The Indians scored on their first five drives in a runaway win over the Hornets in the teams’ 102nd meeting.

Crystal Lake South 39, Dundee-Crown 23: QB Brady Schroeder helped lead the Gators past the Chargers in his first start, engineering four first-half scoring drives.

Huntley 21, Burlington Central 12: Red Raiders defensive back Nick Martino scored twice on return touchdowns, one a blocked punt and the other a fumble recovery, to help lead Huntley past the Rockets.

Kaneland 56, Woodstock North 21: The Knights scored 42 straight points after the game was tied at 14 to run away from the Thunder.

Rochelle 35, Johnsburg 10: The Skyhawks fell to 0-4 with a loss to the Hubs. Luke Conroy had 110 passing yards, while Jake Metze caught seven passes for 48 yards.

Morris 63, Woodstock 13: Morris ran for 370 rushing yards in a rout of the Blue Streaks in their Kishwaukee River/Interstate 8 White game.
