Here is the Suburban Life All-Area football team:

OFFENSE

Michael Brescia, Hinsdale Central, senior, quarterback: Colgate commit. Two-year starter completed 64-of-111 passes for 955 yards with nine touchdowns and one interception this spring for 6-0 West Suburban Silver champions. Brescia also had 63 carries for 490 yards (7.78 per yard average) with 12 rushing TDs.

Parker Brown, Wheaton Warrenville South, senior, quarterback: Indiana Wesleyan commit. Two-year starter also was an All-Area pick in basketball. Brown completed 87-of-130 passes for 1,003 yards and 10 TDs and had just two interceptions in six games.

Josh Brown, Willowbrook, junior, running back: A starting defensive end as a sophomore, Brown this spring ran for an area-best 1,750 yards and 23 TDs in six games, with a school record 12 yards a carry. Brown set the single-game program rushing record with 351 yards against Hinsdale South. Defensively, he had 20 tackles, nine tackles for loss and two sacks.

Kaleb Clousing, Wheaton Warrenville South, senior, receiver: Grand Valley State recruit. Clousing had 25 catches for 266 yards and six TDs, and also returned a kickoff for a score.

Enrique Cruz, Willowbrook, senior, offensive lineman: Syracuse recruit and the 14th-ranked senior in Illinois by 247Sports. The 6-foot-6, 250-pound left tackle was Willowbrook’s first Division I recruit in more than a decade. Cruz led the Warriors’ offense to a school-record 40 points a game and 417 rushing yards a game.

Mark Forcucci, Wheaton North, junior, quarterback: Second-year starter completed 60-of-109 passes for 919 yards and 12 TDs with just one interception. Forcucci also ran for a TD for 5-1 DuKane Conference co-champs.

Kyle Franklin, IC Catholic Prep, senior, running back: Indiana State recruit and four-year starter finished off outstanding career by rushing for 519 yards on 81 carries with 10 TDs in five games. For his career, Franklin ran for 5,400 yards (9.3 yards a carry) and 84 TDs in 42 games.

Wes Hoeh, Glenbard West, senior, offensive lineman: Two-year starter and Syracuse recruit. Six-foot-4, 250-pound guard is one of state’s top 50 seniors and anchor of line for offense that averaged 36 points a game.

Seth Kortenhoeven, Wheaton North, junior, receiver: Falcons receiver had 25 catches for 505 yards (20.2 yards a catch, 84.2 yards a game) with six TDs for 5-1 DuKane Conference co-champions.

Jalen Moore, Glenbard West, senior, running back: Repeat All-Area pick. University of St. Thomas commit had 50 catches for 580 yards and six TDs in four games. Also had six catches for 160 yards.

Eli Reed, Downers Grove South, junior, receiver: Committed to Northern Illinois last week. Second-year varsity starter had 29 catches for 572 yards and five TDs, a 19.7 yard per catch average. Also ran for 52 yards and three TDs and had a return TD. Defensively, Reed had two pass breakups and an interception.

Tommy Rittenhouse, St. Francis, senior, quarterback: Illinois State recruit and three-year starter. Rittenhouse this spring completed 70-of-120 passes for 1,278 yards with 20 TDs and just two interceptions for 6-0 Metro Suburban Blue champions. Also had 39 carries for 282 yards and three rushing TDs.

DEFENSE

Sean Allison, Hinsdale Central, junior, linebacker: Outside linebacker/safety hybrid had 48 tackles, four tackles for loss, two sacks, two interceptions, one forced fumble and one TD for 6-0 West Suburban Silver champs. Hinsdale Central’s starting defense gave up 17 points in six games.

Drew Bielawski, Downers Grove North, senior, defensive lineman/offensive lineman/linebacker: Three-year starter, two-time all-conference pick and two-time team captain never left field. Defensively, Bielawski had 35 tackles in four games at nose guard and linebacker, 7.5 tackles for loss and four sacks. At guard, he anchored line for offense that rushed for five yards a carry.

Carson Boggs, Hinsdale Central, senior, linebacker: Outside linebacker had 56 tackles, two tackles for loss, one sack, one interception and a TD for 6-0 West Suburban Silver champs. The Red Devils’ starting defense gave up just 17 points in six games.

Demond Butcher, Montini, senior, defensive lineman/offensive lineman: Three-year starter on both sides of the ball was Broncos’ heart and soul. This season in five games, he had 30 tackles, six of them for loss, with two sacks and an interception.

Riley Dravet, Wheaton North, senior, defensive back: Drake recruit. Three-year varsity player returned from devastating hamstring injury suffered during 2019 track season to contribute in all three phases for 5-1 DuKane Conference co-champs. Had 14 solo tackles, 17 assists, 2.5 tackles for loss, three pass breakups, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery. Had key 80-yard fumble return for a TD in season finale against Batavia.

DiAndre Harris, Montini, senior, defensive back/running back: Three-year defensive starter will play in college at Georgetown. In four games this spring, he had 24 tackles, 10 of them for loss, with five sacks, a forced fumble and two pass breakups. Also rushed for 230 yards and had three catches.

Drew Hughes, Nazareth, senior, defensive lineman: Ball State recruit. Hughes, the Defensive Player of the Year in the CCL/ESCC Orange, had 17 tackles, seven of them solos, and four tackles for loss in four games.

Patrick Kastner, York, senior, running back/linebacker: Two-way starter ran for 552 yards and six touchdowns for Dukes’ team that had first winning season since 2011. Also caught seven passes for 52 yards. Defensively, he made 19 tackles, 3.5 for loss, and had one forced fumble.

Elijah Lee, St. Francis, defensive back/receiver: Waubonsie Valley transfer was impact addition on both sides of the ball for 6-0 Spartans. Lee had 15 tackles and four interceptions, two of them returned for TDs, with two pass breakups defensively. Offensively, Lee had 11 catches for 264 yards and three TDs.

Denin Limouris, Glenbard West, senior, defensive end/tight end: Committed to Iowa as a preferred walk-on. Three-year two-way starter was a difference-maker on both sides of the ball. Had eight catches for 218 yards and a TD in four games, and also made 14 tackles and had four sacks.

Luke Swiatek, Riverside-Brookfield, senior, linebacker: Contributed in all three phases for Bulldogs. Defensively, Swiatek had 41 tackles, 11 of them for loss, with two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery. At tight end, he had 15 catches for 104 yards and two TDs.

Tyler Yates, Lemont, senior, defensive line: Three-year starter had 17 tackles, three of them for loss and two sacks
