Princeton’s Ronde Worrels now No. 1 all-time rushing leader in Bureau County

Princeton senior Ronde Worrels became the all-time leading rusher in Bureau County with his 137-yard effort last week against Kewanee.

He now has 4,106 career yards, according to BCR records, overtaking Todd Maynard of Bureau Valley, who gained 4,001 for the Storm from 2001-2003.

With his three 58 touchdowns last week, Worrels (58) has also surpassed Maynard (56) for most career rushing touchdowns.

The top 5 rushers of all-time since 1971 are Doug Compton (3,291) of Tiskilwa, Cory Scott (3,230) of Princeton and Dave Compton (3,196) of Tiskilwa, rounding out Bureau County’s 3,000-yard club.
