Friday Night Drive’s Power Rankings: Week 9

There was a lot of movement among the Top 25 in the Friday Night Drive Power Rankings in the final week of the regular season.

The top three teams, however, remained the same. East St. Louis, despite taking a loss to national powerhouse IMG Academy in Week 9 remains the No. 1 team overall, followed closely by two teams, Loyola and Joliet Catholic, who lead the pack of 24 teams that cleared all of the hurdles of the regular season unscathed.

Two new teams entered the Top 25. Naperville North enters at No. 17 after picking off Neuqua Valley in the final round of play in the DuPage Valley Conference. Fenwick, which had an extremely strong second half of the season enters at No. 19 after knocking St. Ignatius from the ranks of the undefeated.
