A St. Bede Bruin made his collegiate choice on National Signing Day Wednesday while a pair of Princeton players fulfilled their previous commitment.
St. Bede lineman Brandon Green signed with St. Norbert College. He’s a two-way starter for the Bruins.
“He’s a great kid and great student. It’s a great opportunity for him,” SBA coach Jim Eustice said.
Princeton’s Grant Foes (OL/DL) will be playing for Indiana Wesleyan University while running back/linebacker Ronde Worrels is heading to Northern Illinois University to play for the Huskies.
IWU’s Twitter welcomed Foes “Home” while NIU said it added another “fierce competitor” to its linebacker core in Worrels.
PHS coach Ryan Pearson said both Tigers will do well, calling Foes an “amazing young man that will kill it at the next level,” while adding that the Mid American Conference “will take notice real soon” about Worrels.
