The DeKalb-Sycamore girls golf team opened the season with a 194-220 win against Dundee-Crown on Monday.
Brianna Chamoun led the team with a 41, and Lauren Cohn added a 44. Lexi Morrow carded a 44.

Sycamore second at Belvidere North: The Spartans took second at the two-person scramble.
The team of Nick Zurco and Luther Swedberg took sixth, tying with teammates Evan Borowicz and Ryan Polly.
