SYCAMORE – Sycamore United Methodist Church is hosting a monthly community outreach called Wednesday Drive-Thru Dinner on the third Wednesday of each month.
This month’s barbecue chicken dinner is hosted by and benefits the United Methodist Men. It will be held from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 19, at SUMC, 160 Johnson Ave. in Sycamore.
Catered by the Sycamore Country Store & Catering, each meal includes barbecue chicken, steakhouse potato salad, country baked beans, applesauce and a roll with butter. On meal pick-up night, use the church’s south parking lot entrance and follow the signs to drive around the back of the church to pick up your dinner.
Tickets cost $12 and must be purchased in advance no later than May 14. Tickets are available to purchase from any UMM member or at the church office by calling 815-895-9113.
Save the date for next month’s Wednesday Drive-Thru Dinner on June 16. Hosted by Sycamore Rotary Club, a rib dinner will be provided by Tom & Jerry’s of Sycamore. Tickets cost $15. More information on where to buy tickets will be announced at a later date.
