Egyptian Theatre adds BOO’ze & Spirits Tours dates

DeKALB – The Egyptian Theatre in downtown DeKalb has added three March dates to its BOO’ze & Spirits Tours schedule.

The tours are slated for 8 p.m. March 5, 12 and 26 at the theater, 135 N. Second St.

The Egyptian Theatre is known as one of the most haunted buildings in town and in the top 10 haunted theaters in Illinois, according to a news release. Theater staff will share all the secrets and stories with a balcony-to-backstage tour focusing on the history of the 90-year-old building, along with the theater’s ghostly guests.

Minors must be accompanied by an adult and the evening tour will last about two hours. Tickets are limited.

All attendees must wear a mask covering their mouth and nose and social distancing will be in place throughout the tour. Tour group will remain small for the comfort of those in attendance.
