Found: Puppy stolen from Tails Humane Society returned safely

DeKALB – A missing puppy that was taken from Tails Humane Society has been safely returned.

The two-month old mixed breed puppy, named Queen Anne, was stolen from the shelter on Jan. 9.

In a Facebook post, Tails thanked the DeKalb Police Department for their vigilance and partnership, writing, “The officers on duty last night deserve all of the credit for her being returned.”

The puppy is in good health and is staying in a foster home.

Tails said that no other information will be shared at this time because of the ongoing investigation.

“We are frustrated and saddened that this occurred and relieved that she’s been found safe and sound,” according to Tails’ Facebook post.
