Princeton grapplers sweep Alleman, Pontiac

Princeton swept a triangular on the mats of Prouty Gym Saturday morning, defeating Rock Island Alleman 44-21 and Pontiac 59-9.

Winners on the mat against Alleman were Preston Arkles with a 0:31 fall at 132, Matthew Harris with a 19-2 technical fall at 138, Drew Harp wth a 6-4 win at 220 and Jesse Wright with an 0:58 fall at heavyweight.

PHS also earned four forfeit wins while there were two double forfeits.

Princeton won five of the seven contested matches vs. Pontiac. Augie Christiansen won 20-3 at 145, Carson Etheridge won by 1:08 fall at 152, Jimmy Kurth won by 1:59 fall at 182, Harp won by 0:54 fall at 220 and Wright won by 5:04 fall at heavyweight.

The Tigers also gained five forfeits over the Indians with a pair of double forfeits in the meet.
