Area players named to All-TRAC East girls volleyball team

Three area players headed up the 2021 All-TRAC East girls volleyball team.

St. Bede senior Elaina Wamhoff and Princeton juniors Katie Bates and Abby Peterson were selected unanimously by league coaches, it was announced Thursday.

There were joined by Kewanee junior Ally Clevenger, also chosen unanimously, along with Kewanee senior Josie DeBord, Erie-Prophetstown senior Emily Brooks and Newman freshman Kennedy Rowzee.

St. Bede senior Reese Ludford was the top vote-getter on the second team. Princeton placed juniors Madison Richards and Maya Gartin on the second team, and Bureau Valley had a pair with junior Kyra Stoller and senior Lauren Wirth.

Other second-team selections are seniors Ady Scott and Baylee Anderson and freshman Kennedy Buck of E-P.

Hall senior Lily Orlandi and Princeton junior McKenzie Hecht received honorable mention.
