Traffic stops

Tanner F. Schmollinger, 18, of Spring Valley was charged with speeding on Route 89 near 2150 North Avenue, south of Arlington, at 7:54 p.m. May 9.

Jose Castro, 19, of Spring Valley was charged with speeding and operating an uninsured motor vehicle on Route 6 near 2775 East Street near Princeton at 7:02 p.m. May 7.

Kane H. Newton, 18, of Speer was charged with speeding and operating an uninsured motor vehicle on Route 40 near Kentville Road near Buda at 3:41 a.m. May 4.

A 16-year-old Mendota boy was charged with speeding on Route 34 near 2550 East Street near Princeton at 12:50 p.m. May 3.

DUI

After a single-vehicle accident, James N. Headley, 42, of Buda was charged with improper lane usage and driving under the influence of alcohol on Route 40 near 1000 North Avenue, south of Buda, at 3:13 a.m. May 8.

Domestic battery

Michael J. Choiniere, 73, of Princeton was charged with domestic battery in the 2200 block of Westmore Drive in Princeton at 11:58 a.m. May 6.

Warrant arrests

Jordan M. Tang, 22, of Oglesby was arrested in Bureau County Jail at 2:31 a.m. May 9 on two warrants, one for mob action and the second for aggravated battery.

Tyson K. Davis, 27, of Sublette was arrested in the 100 block of North Main Street in Arlington at 10:17 p.m. May 4 on a failure to appear warrant.

Criminal trespass

Matthew J. McCauley, 31, of Buda was charged with criminal trespass to residence in the 300 block of North Depot Street in Buda at 4:44 p.m. May 5.

Traffic accidents

Wanda K. Cassidy, 57, of Cherry and Connie J. McNally, 60, of Arlington were involved in a two-vehicle accident on Lincoln Avenue near Third Street in Cherry at 11:37 a.m. May 6.

Cory W. Peterson, 47, of Wyanet and Robert E. LaPorte, 46, of Princeton were involved in a two-vehicle accident on Route 6 near Wyaton Hills Golf Course at 8:07 p.m. May 5.

Arnold L. Felder, 68, of Putnam was involved in a single-vehicle accident on 1925 East Street near 450 North Avenue near Tiskilwa at 2:14 p.m. May 4.

Jessica N. Vallie, 40, of Ohio was involved in a single-vehicle accident on Route 26 near 2700 North Avenue near Ohio at 3 p.m. May 4.

Deer accident

A vehicle driven by Christopher L. Brockman, 32, of Princeton struck a deer on Route 92 near 2750 East Street, east of Van Orin, at 3:04 a.m. May 7.

Warrant arrests/obstructing identification

Shanice L. Harden, 28, and Benjamin G. Humphrey, 36, both of Spring Valley, were arrested in the 500 block of West Saint Paul Street at 1:11 a.m. May 9 on warrants. Humphrey was also charged with obstructing identification.
