Traffic stops

Antonia Toledano, 35, of DePue was charged with speeding on 1650 North Avenue near 2300 East Street, east of Princeton, at 6:08 a.m. March 23.

Nathan Diaz, 21, of Spring Valley was charged with speeding and operating an uninsured motor vehicle on Dalzell Black Top near West Blakely Estates Drive in Dalzell at 3:52 p.m. March 20.

A vehicle driven by Adrian Alaniz, 18, of Spring Valley was charged with speeding on Route 6 near 3100 East Street near Spring Valley at 3:24 p.m. March 20.

Traffic accidents

Tylor Blair, 25, of Kewanee was involved in a single-vehicle accident in the 7000 block of Backbone Road in Tampico at 12:23 p.m. March 21.

Jerry Platt, 59, of Sheffield was involved in a single-vehicle accident in the 100 block of East Railroad Street in Sheffield at 11:23 p.m. March 20.

Deer accidents

A vehicle driven by Randall Eckberg, 56, of Princeton struck a deer on Wyanet-Walnut Road near 2100 North Avenue near Princeton at 4:54 a.m. March 23.

A vehicle driven by Timothy Philhower, 29, of Wyanet struck a deer on Waynet-Walnut Road near 00 North Avenue, southeast of Bradford, at midnight March 22.

A vehicle driven by Matthew Schlindwein, 23, of Wyanet struck a deer on Backbone Road near Bureau Creek in Princeton at 8:21 p.m. March 21.

Warrant arrests

Chantelle Smith, 30, of Peru was arrested on a failure to appear warrant in Bureau County Jail at 11 a.m. March 23.

Joshua Thompson, 30, of Malden was arrested on a failure to appear warrant in Bureau County Jail at 5:51 p.m. March 22.
