Princeton American Legion Auxiliary 125 to meet Feb. 8

Meeting will take place at 9:30 a.m.

In the early 2000s, the Princeton VFW sold its former building and moved in with the Princeton American Legion, located on West Peru Street. A move like so was unheard of at the time, but it was an important one that has made both veteran organizations stronger in the long run.

The Princeton American Legion Auxiliary 125 will meet at 9:30 a.m. Feb. 8 at 1549 W. Peru St.

The group will prepare and deliver Valentine’s bags to local veterans at nursing and retirement homes.
