Princeton Friends of the Library November book sale starts Nov. 11

More than 9.000 used books will be for sale

PRINCETON — The Friends of the Princeton Public Library is hosting a fall book sale beginning Nov. 11.

The sale runs 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 11; 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 12, and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 13. Bag Day will be on Saturday; $5 per bag for books priced at $1 or less. Also all books with yellow stickers are half price as well as DVDs, CDs, audiobooks and puzzles.

More than 9,000 quality used books, both hardcover and paperback, have been cleaned and sorted into more than 30 categories for easy shopping. The sale will feature children’s and young adult books, newer fiction and non-fiction, sports, biographies, gardening, poetry, classics, mysteries, hardcover fiction, presidents, higher priced non-fiction and how-to books (such as quilting, decorating, woodworking and remodeling), cookbooks, Christmas books, mysteries, history and science books, as well as puzzles, CDs, and DVDs.

The sale will be held in the Friends of the Library sale room. Patrons may enter through the front doors of the library and follow the signs which will direct them to the sale. All hardcover books and children’s books are located in the sale room. Paperbacks, puzzles, CDs, and DVDs are located in the adjoining area of the library. Payment is with the cashiers in the book sale room.

Following guidelines of Princeton Public Library, masks will need to be worn upon entering the library and during shopping. Hand sanitizer will also be made available in both sale areas.
