Princeton Optimist to host final Halloween festivities

Costume parade and contest takes place Oct. 23

PRINCETON — The Princeton Optimists will be hosting their final costume parade and contest on Saturday, Oct. 23, in conjunction with the Princeton Chamber of Commerce annual Scarecrow Days.

The event will start at 11 a.m. in Soldiers and Sailors Park for the judging. Contestants will then parade down to the Prouty Building to receive their treat bags and for the announcement of the winners.

The parade is open to all children 12 and under.
