Princeton Public Library expands checkout items

The Princeton Public Library is offering the community access to their “library of things.”

There are a variety of items that can be checked out at the library in addition to books, CDs, and DVDs. The availability of these items can save patrons the time and expense of buying their own. They also provide the opportunity to try something out before purchasing.

The list of items includes:

Rug Doctor

Jumper Cables

Roku Streaming Device

Telescope

Mini Projector

Wifi Hotspot

Bean-bag Toss (Corn-hole) Game

Selection of Full-size Cardboard Character Cutouts

Other items are being added all the time and we welcome suggestions for our collection of things. Come in to the library at 698 E. Peru Street or check it out on facebook or the website www.princetonpl.org. These items will only be checked out for one week and will not be renewable since we have a limited supply.

Patrons must be 18 years old and have a valid Princeton library card to check out. We also ask that they be returned to the circulation desk and should not be placed in the drop box stations. Many of the items are fragile and contain multiple parts that have to be checked it separately.
